| Historical and Heritage groups showed up at the city council to show how many of us care about the preservation of historic Pomona. Without your visible support the council will feel no urgency to deny this appeal. We fought to have the tearing down of historical downtown buildings delayed untill the building were ready to be built on. The city gave permision to tear down over a block of buildings. Sure enough the project lost funding, the buildings are torn down and nothing but a hold is in the ground, the Pomona Lake disaster.
City Council Chambers are located at 505 S. Garey Avenue between City Hall and the Library. The critical meeting was held on June 4th and your presence is vital.
